Hannah is an associate in the Family Law Group at Simmons da Silva LLP. Her practice is focused on assisting clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, property division, custody and access, child support, and spousal support. She helps her clients to protect their legal interests prior to entering into a spousal relationship and assists them to defend their rights in the event of a relationship breakdown.
As part of Hannah’s practice, she is trained in Collaborative Family Law, which allows for clients to use a more cooperative approach to their family law matters. Hannah believes that using Collaborative Law often results in better outcomes for her clients and incorporates collaborative techniques into all areas of her practice.
Hannah is also comfortable using the court system as a useful tool to reach resolution and is prepared to use it in the appropriate circumstances. Every client’s matter is different and requires a different legal route. Hannah assists her clients to find the right path to reach a satisfactory conclusion based on their individual circumstances.
Outside of the office, one of Hannah’s passions is photography. As an amateur photographer or an experienced family lawyer, Hannah takes a creative and collaborative approach. She has a keen eye for detail and nuance, a trait that distinguishes her and benefits her clients.
Hannah works hard for her clients, taking time to listen to their concerns and giving them the tools to make informed decisions about how to proceed with their matter. She gets satisfaction in being able to support her clients through their separation and make the legal process easier to navigate.
